Your plug does not fit into the socket? We will be happy to provide you with an adapter at the reception. The deposit is CHF 10 and will be refunded when you return the adapter.

We kindly ask you to notify us before arrival if you need allergy-sensitive bedding or even special food for your stay. We have allergy pillows as well as allergy comforters. In case of unannounced intolerances, we cannot guarantee to have the appropriate food in stock. Despite the greatest possible care, we can not exclude the possibility of traces of allergens in dishes.

Enjoy delicious drinks and exuberant atmosphere in our après-ski bar "Steffi's Kuhstall". This is located right next to the hotel and is usually open daily in winter from 15.00 to 18.30 and from 21.00 to 02.00.

In the dependance there is a lounge, which is available for all our guests. In the lounge in the dependance you can find our small library, where you can borrow books or exchange your read book for another one.

Upon request, we will gladly provide you with a baby crib free of charge.

On the Fiescheralp there is no bank and also no cash machines. In Fiesch and on Bettmeralp you can use the Raiffeisenbank and ATMs.

We will be grateful if you pay your hotel bill on the eve of your departure day. Besides cash we accept Maestro, Master Card, Visa and Postcard.

The rooms are available from 14.00 on the day of arrival. We are happy to offer early arrivals a possibility to store their luggage.

We ask you to leave your room on the day of departure around 10.00 am. You can leave the room key at the reception. If you would like to spend the day of departure on the Fiescheralp, we are happy to offer a possibility for luggage storage.

In the restaurant Bergfreund on the Fiescheralp there is a small store. You will find a larger offer in the stores in Fiesch.

On request we will transport your luggage from the cable car station Fiescheralp to the hotel or on departure from the hotel to the cable car station for a fee of Fr. 20.-.

Give a little vacation as a gift! Vouchers for meals or overnight stays at the Hotel Eggishorn are available at the reception or can be sent by direct request by mail.

Have you forgotten something? In case of emergency, hygiene items such as toothbrush, toothpaste and disposable razor can be purchased at the reception. A larger selection is available in the store in the restaurant Bergfreund.

The tourist tax is CHF 3,50 per person and day of stay for adults and teenagers from 16 years. Children and teenagers from 6 to 15 years inclusive pay CHF 1.75

If necessary, sewing kit is available at the reception.

Emergency telephones are placed in strategic locations in both hotel buildings: in the reception of the main building & in the annex between the first and second floors.

Since July 1, 2010 all restaurants in Valais are smoke-free. Also our hotel rooms are all non-smoking rooms. Of course you may smoke on your balcony as well as on the large restaurant terrace. Please do not throw away cigarette butts but use the ashtrays. We thank you for your understanding.

Our restaurant is open from 07.30 in the morning until 23.00 in the evening. All consumptions are to be paid directly to the service staff. Meals are served during the following hours: Breakfast: 07.30 to 10.00 Lunch: 11.00 to 15.00 Dinner: 18.00 to 20.30.

With us you can buy postcards and stamps. We are also happy to take your letters and postcards to the post office.

A safe is available in your closet for your valuables. Please leave the safe open upon departure.

You can leave your room key at the key box during the day and exchange it for a more compact small key for on the go. The main entrance doors are open around the clock.

During the summer and hiking season (June to October), shoe cleaning utensils are available at the shoe rack.

The ultimate fun in winter! Dare the descent from Fiescheralp to Lax with our skibikes. The rent per bike is CHF 15.- per day.

You can leave your skis, snowboards and ski boots in our ski room in the basement. We kindly ask you not to take ski boots or ski poles to your room.

Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival: free of charge.
A cancellation up
to 15 days before arrival: 50% of the agreed room rate.
Cancellationup to 7 days before arrival: 100% of the agreed room rate.

Dogs are usually allowed, but the stay of dogs is possible only on request with an official confirmation from the hotel for an extra charge of CHF 15,- per dog per night. We have a limited number of rooms where pets are allowed. These will be assigned by our reception staff. During your stay you must abide by the following house rules for dogs:

-Not every room is suitable for dogs. Check in advance to make sure your dog can stay in the room without any problems;
- Maximum one dog (up to about knee height) allowed per room;-
- Dog food, dog bag, dog mat or dog bed must be brought by the owner. The hotel does not provide any of the listed items;
- Dogs must be quiet, well-behaved and not harass other guests or hotel/restaurant staff;
If we have to compensate other guests for harassment caused by your pet, these costs will be passed on to the owner of the dog;
- Dogs are to be kept on a leash at all times in the hotel, restaurant, terrace and other public areas of both hotel buildings;
- Before entering the hotel and restaurant, make sure your dog is dry and does not leave muddy tracks;
- Dogs are not to be left alone in the room. In the event of damage to room furnishings, the dog's owner is liable for the cost of repairs;
- Dogs are not allowed to sit on hotel chairs or stools. In case of damage to the general interior equipment, the owner of the dog is liable for the repair costs;
- It is not allowed to use towels, bed linen and the comforter for your dog. In this case we charge additional costs of CHF 25,- for dry cleaning;
- It is not allowed to leave your dog on the bed or on the chairs. In this case we charge additional costs of CHF 25,- for dry cleaning;
- It is not allowed to wash your dog in the bathtub, shower or sink;
- In case of excessive soiling of the room by the pet we reserve the right to charge additional cleaning costs;
- In case of persistent noise nuisance, e.g. barking, we reserve the right to remove the dog from the hotel. Removal due to nuisance does not entitle you to a refund;

For the welfare of all guests, we ask that you read all rules thoroughly and follow them. Then other guests will not have complaints and we can continue to receive four-legged guests in the future. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Dirty laundry that you would like to have washed & ironed, please place in the white laundry bag. You will find this as well as a price list in the closet. Laundry that is delivered to the reception before 9:00 a.m. will usually be returned the same day, except on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

So that we also do not pollute the environment too much, we change the terry linen once a week during a longer stay. If you need a new towel in between times, we ask you to put the used towel in the shower or bathtub so that we can replace it with a freshly washed one. Please make sure that all lights are turned off and windows are closed when you leave your room. Also, help keep our natural environment clean by disposing of your trash and cigarette butts in the trash can instead of throwing them away. Thank you for your valuable support.

All our rooms and lounges have free WiFi access. You can get the password at the reception or you can find it in the info sheet in your room.

Newspapers are available for you to borrow daily in the restaurant area.
